Resource Wars [Pandaria, patch 5.3 & 5.4] Battle-on-the-high-seas-alliance-th-large-1

Date: 18/09/30 sdp

Captain: Inran of Kor'khat

The Briefing:

"The Stormbringer II" and the 157th 'Wild Tempest' Company was on their way to Pandaria when encounter a storm. Tempest alarm was sound and soldiers ordered downstairs to give sailors room to work.

157th 'Wild Tempest' Company
(Those who were in fighting shape)

Captain Inran of Kor'khat
Sergeant Mia Averheim
Corporal Hugir Strongbrew
Corporal Shiiri
Corporal Xildon Tinkertron
Lance-Corporal Tachal Stormclaw
Private Nihilia
Private Pvithe Windfury
Private Tuomas*
Recruit Konstantinos
Recruit Saphra Emberstone*

* = Last Chancer

Stowaways

"Pao" of the Shado-Pan

The Mission:

Main Objectives:

  • Endure the Storm: "Achieved"

  • Defeat the Kor'kron Attackers: "Achieved"

  • Destroy the Kor'kron Battleship: "Achieved"

  • Recover Private Pvithe Windfury: "In Progress"

The storm battering The Stormbringer II was particularly harsh, and the personnel below deck had to constantly keep hold of something or risk being thrown overboard. After a rather large wave, the sounds of canonfire echoed in the night. A horde battleship who seemed unaffected by the storm attacking us. Men were ordered to man the canons and return fire.

Before any major damage could be done, the Horde Battleship was already in boarding range. While arrows pelted the deck of The Stormbringer our own archers and spellcasters were ordered to aim to the dark shamans and archers of the Kor'kron. Bridges were set down by the Horde and boarding crew sent both by bridge and swinging over by ropes. Close quarter fighters were ordered to engage, while archers and spellcasters continue by the earlier orders.

Attacking waves were repelled without major casualties on the Alliance side. A water elemental called forth by the Kor'kron attacking the ship from the Starboard side caused minor problems. However, Corporal Shiiri's and Recruit Emberstone's magical assault and Emberstone's demon managed to disrupt the concentration of the Dark Shamans, result the elemental being frozen into place time to time.

The Kor'kron launched a Goblin with sort of explosive strapped to his back onboard the Stormbringer II and attempted to engage, battered by a fire storm conjured by the spellcasters. The detonation of the bomb was stopped by Corporal Strongbrew the last second, and the goblin was knocked out cold.

By the Horde ship trying to disengage, canons were ordered to be fired again. In combination to the magical assault of spellcasters, the enemy seemed defeated already. However an enchanted canonball, a creation of Corporal Shiiri caused a reaction with the ship's carge on impact, result an arcane explosion and forming of a maelstrom. The pull was escaped from by one of the experimental technological applications, granting a sudden surge of speed that took us into clearer water.

Injuries but no casualties, the wounded were rounded up in downstairs and tended to. Two prisoners were taken, the Goblin who brought the bomb and an Orc. Both were set in shackles and thrown into jail. They will be turned over when we reach Lion's Landing.

Officer note:

- Recruit Konstantinos caused minor friendly fire by calling forth the power of Light to banish the Felhunter of Recruit Emberstone. For reason being in question being a demonic minion, i've decided not to take it further, but i will if the behavior prove to be repeating.

- Private Tuomas* was sent on a forced vacation to avoid problems that he could cause in Pandaria by causing everyone upset. He is on consideration to be removed from the unit entirely.

-Private Windfury have gone missing, but was told by me by one of our Kaldorei to be heading same direction as we were. I trusted the Druid's word on it and did take no further actions.

-The experimental technology of The Stormbringer II is forbid to use for now, until throughfull repairs are done. New weapon system need also to be thought for the defense of the ship. I shall set our engineers on the task.

The Briefing:

The "157th Wild Tempest" company landed on the shore of a Pandaren town, totally deserted and overtaken by the Kor'Kron. The citizens of the town either escaped, got slaughtered or hid in their houses.

Assisting Pandaren

"Pao" Of the Shado-Pan

The Mission:

Main Objectives:

  • Eliminate the Kor'Kron from the Village: "Achieved"
  • Eliminate the Sha from the close area: "Achieved"
  • Secure a basecamp in the abandoned village: "In Progress"

The 157th sailed through the mist and peaks of Pandaria, for a small period of time, until fires could be seen. Upon further investigation the fires came from a burning village. As the ship sailed closer also one more thing was noticeable, a crashed Kor'Kron ship. The village was filled with Pandaren corpses aswell as dead Kor'Kron soliders. The Tempest landed and engaged into a fight with the remaining Kor'Kron forces.

Once the Tempest landed they continued on towards the deeper part of the village, where they encountered two Pandaren, which it seems, got corrupted by the sha. They attacked the tempest but the soldiers got a strict order only to knock the two out. While one pandaren was knocked out, the other one was stabbed by private Nihilia in the stomach and then knocked out by Corporal Tinkerton. In the other part of the village, Pao of the Shado Pan was fighting two goblins, each armed with knives. Inbetween the fighting the Tempest was showered with mortar shells. After the two pandaren were defeated something weird began to happen with Lance-Corporal Tachal, it seemed like he was getting corrupted by the sha, which resulted in him flying off and being chased by Pao of the Shado-Pan, which also finished in them disabling the mortar teams.

During the mortar bombings two Kor'Kron emerged from a nearby hut, divided from the Soldiers by a bridge. A Sniper and a Shaman. While the Sniper kept supressing the soldiers the shaman collapsed the bridge. But the Sniper was skillfully shot down by the Tempest's hunters. The shaman went to hide in the hut but he saw his end, being attacked by the sha. When that has ended little shalings started attacking the soldiers, which were spread out along the village handling different tasks, at that moment Private Nihilia got corrupted by the sha, managed to hurt Recruit Bjarn and assault Private Konstantinos and Sergeant Averheim, then being knocked out by Averheim. Shortly after Pao of the Shado Pan escorted the two knocked out Pandaren to safety and managed to clear the corruption of Lance-Corporal Tachal.

After the battle the soldiers gathered and went on to healing the wounded or preparing the defences of the island. Then Sergeant Vanimedle and Captain Inran arrived taking control over the troops.

Officer note(s):

- Private Nihilia has not followed the superiors orders when ordered not to attack, she stabbed a neutral Pandaren that was corrupted in the Stomach.

The Blooming Lotus paid us a visit this night. They came to bring us meet which we stored safely inside the hut used as an infirmary. One of them also kindly gave me a basket with healing potions and medicine to boost the strenght of our wounded. They also wished to inform us that should we need any aid at all with anything, they are to be found at the monastery further up the mountain. The offer of aid came from: Master Ju-Sin Stormstout

((Found in Notice Board, posted here as reminding notice))

((Shiiri: If you wish to chat to me IC about this, or well, anything, and I'm not on WoW, don't hesitate to ask on skype!))

This note is pinned to a notice board inside the Stormbringer, elegantly written and signed by Shiiri.

Quote :
Greetings, my fellow soldiers.
As you hopefully have heard by now, our destination Pandaria harbors beings called the Sha.
Their presence is felt across the continent, and it may have a profound effect on you. Should you suffer negative emotions such as fear, despair, doubt, hatred, anger, or violent feelings, the Sha presence may greatly amplify these feelings and cause you to fall under Sha influence. In such a state, you are a danger to both yourself and those around you. It is something that is possible to cleanse by pandaren monks, but the Wild Tempest is lacking in such.

Corporal Tinkertron's suggested strategy in regards to the Sha is to avoid such emotion outright, which is a strategy I can only agree with. Thus, I kindly ask you all with any tendency towards the earlier mentioned negative emotions come to me and speak to me of them. Any personal details will be kept private between you and me, while a report will be written for the officer staff about the tendencies towards negative emotion among our soldiers and how to avoid triggering such for each of our members.

This is for the well-being of both you, me, and our fellow soldiers. I hope to hear from you soon.
Of course, any questions may be addressed to myself regarding this program. While I can also speak of the Sha, there are soldiers in our company with prior experience with them such as Corporal Tinkertron, and you may seek them out also.

May the Light embrace you.
Corporal Shiiri,
Morale Officer

The "157th" Dashing Association of Marvelous, Noteworthy and Ingenious Tinkers is a newly opened tinker shop for soldiers, by soldiers!
Are you in need of your own personal mechanized toothbrush, or a mobile storage that's able to mix and cool your alcoholic beverages, or even a ear mounted death ray? We've created it all, and way, way more. Can't find what you're looking for among our wide assortment of inventions and don't have the knowledge to create it yourself?
No problem! Customers can request their own ideas to be turned into actual working, 100% safe devices by our experienced and multi talented tinkers.

Interested? Give a poke to either Lance-Corporal Cuddlefork, Private Surestrike, Corporal Xildon or myself

OOC: Greetings! As some of you might have seen on DefiasRP.com already, this is a little initiative thought up by the Wild Tempest officer team to inspire more creativity within our own guild and outside of it as well.
Basicly the poster above hopefully explains what DAMNIT is and does already, if not, here's a lil' explanation:
It's a tinker shop! Simple as that. Created by several tinkers within WT, people can buy their inventions and can ask them to turn their own ideas into actually working inventions for a certain prize of course. Hopefully resulting in fun and creative RP both in and outside WT.

Still any questions? just give me a PM or poke me in-game on Hugir.

Docked: Lion's Landing

Date: 21/08/30 sdp
Afternoon, aprox. sixth bell

Resource Wars [Pandaria, patch 5.3 & 5.4] Wowscr10

'The Stormbringer II' docked to Lion's Landing, Krasarang Wilds, Coast of Pandaria, the 21th day, six bells before midnight, having departed from the Pandaren village early in the morning.

Soldiers have been told that they've reached their destination, and from here the operations of Pandaria will truly begin. Orders are to have everything necessary from food supplies, tents and other field equipment packed and ready for leaving the fort. Once everything was packed, soldiers would've been given time to relax and move around the fort, but be prepared to leave shortly.

It is worth mention that Krasarang Wilds is a jungle, thus the climate is quite warm least outside the shadow of the great trees. The area is beautiful, but no doubt dangerous based on rumors moving among the stationed soldiers, everything from wildlife to ghost, saurok and the Mogu.

Krasarang Wilds: Search and Rescue

Resource Wars [Pandaria, patch 5.3 & 5.4] Gyroco10

Date: 21/08/30 sdp

Sergeant: Celeste Vanimedle

The Briefing:

The 157th Company having landed in the Krasarang Wilds would use information garnered by the mystical arts of Ariesriel Morningstar we had an idea that Pvithe Windfury would be in the area. He had been missing since the battle of the high seas, and had been tracked to this location. We would move through the wilds and help secure him

157th "Wild Tempest" Company

Sergeant Celeste Melody Vanimedle
Corporal Kwu
Lance-Corporal Tachal Stormclaw
Private Zibble Fiddlecog
Recruit Decurius Longmane
Recruit Konstantinos

The Mission:

Main Objectives:

  • Find and Secure Pvithe Windfury "Achieved"

The men were gathered at the base of Lion's Landing where I had devised the plan to move by air to the Incursion - A small Night Elven push in to the Krasarang Wilds themselves. From there we would head towards the coastline as under Ariesriel's visions. If need be, I had on my person an activation stone that would allow her to Astral Project to our location, to see if she recognised any landmarks from when she was seeing the world through Pvithe's eyes.

As we traversed the coast-line we found a small finishing village of the Pandaren, it was under the attack by the Continent's natives - The Saurok. Lizard men from what I have ascertained, vicious, and deadly. We moved quickly to intercept the attacking Saurok, and managed to keep them at bay. Re-inforcements from the lizards arrived whilst Kwu was in talks with the leader of the village to see if they had seen Pvithe's location. We managed to hold the line and keep the Saurok from advancing, the village elder advised we try futher down the coast.

Futher down the coast we came across what was quite clearly a bundle of huge ammount of gold, it seamt completely unguarded save two very large crabs. Konstantino's darted forward with Zibble to claim the riches, but I ordered them back. I radioed through to command and asked them to send Gyro's to secure the gold, we had to keep our eyes on the mission, the longer Pvithe was out here alone the quicker he might be dead. We continued along the beach, feeling rumbling at regular intervals beneath our feet, aparently caused by the sand crabs that tunnel around in the soft earth.

We reached another village however this one was extremely calm, Pandaren children ran up towards us and studied us curiously. A female Pandaren seamt rather vocal and I sent Kwu to speak with her, it wasn't long till one of the children had claimed she knew where Pvithe was, or had at least seen him, deeper in the forests. We agreed to follow the little girl and she showed us to where the river began to fork and in the right direction. Kwu and Konstantino's would acompany the Pandaren back to the village safely whilst myself, Decurius and Tachal pressed futher on.

We found several signs that pointed us in the direction of Pvithe, Tachal using Druidic magics to narrow down his location. We reached a small island, curtesy of Decurius' frost magics, where we found a lone orc body. The body had been badly mutiliated, and then we found Pvithe, he was in a bad way, burnt heavilly from flame and mana but he was standing, we then made way back to the village and I used the radio to call for help.

Pvithe Windfury's Account:

Sergeant: Celeste Vanimedle

The Briefing:

Due to our nature in Pandaria, and Shiiri's study of the men. I found it appropriate to arrange with Ju-Sin the leader of the Society - Blooming Lotus, for a representative from there order to instruct the 157th in how best to handle there emotions through meditation techniques.

157th Company:

Sergeant Celeste Vanimedle
Sergeant Mia Averheim
Coproal Shiiri
Lance-Corporal Paia Cuddlefork
Lance-Corporal Tachal Stormclaw
Private Nihilia
Private Pvithe Windfury
Private Salara
Private Siaer Stormcloud
Private Thaldir Shadowstar
Private Yokilla
Recruit Ekatis Stormwrath
Recruit Elijah Steinsaltz
Recruit Lerkam Lightheart
Recruit Saphra Emberstone

Blooming Lotus:

Jiang-Nu Sweetbloom

The Mission:

Main Objectives:

  • Give lesson on how to handle negative emotions: "Achieved"
  • Have men be able to control emotions under stress:"In Progress"

After discussing with the Blooming Lotus representative Jiang-Nu Sweetbloom, we would use the main dojo area of the Tian Monastery in The Jade Forests as housing for the training event. I gathered up all the men at eight bells in the evening. From there I gave them a briefing on what would be happening. Jiang-Nu would be instructing them in how best to handle there emotions so whilst on Pandaria they would not succumb to the machinations of the Sha.

I handed over the men to Jiang-Nu's care who began to instruct them firstly in breathing techniques then in proper positioning for meditation. As she did so, another Pandaren began to encircle the room with a large incense burner. The scents wafting from the carrier were thick and heavy, sweet smelling but it did not choke you. After this was done, Jiang-Nu began to teach them that serenity is found from within, and that chi energies are the key to defeating the Sha.

The men aparently began to experience visions, offset I imagine from the Pandaren Incense as to help them focus, each one focusing on the emotions that they believed would be the ones they would succumb to in terms of the Sha. Throughout the training excercise Jiang-nu continued to coach the men through it, some of which really seamt to be struggling with there own minds and whatever was going on within. I continued to monitor for roughly an hour before I told Jiang-Nu to fetch the bell.

The bell was a Pandaren tool that cleared and cleansed all foreign influences affecting the mind, aparently they have used the object regularly in there own training excercises. She brought the bell and rung it in the centre of the room, the men looked tired and somewhat drained. I explained that in this report after watching them I would recommend that some of them, would see not only the Morale Officer, but also a Pandaren representative from the society regularly for coaching.

The excercise had mixed reports but it did what it needed to do, which was coach, and underline those who need help with there emotions themselves.

Officer note(s):

Whilst some of the men: Shiiri, Yokilla, Siaer and Ekatis seamt to regain there composure well its under my recomendation that the others are to seek counselling immediately.

Saphra, Tachal, Salara, Nihilia in particular. Two of those have all ready been subject to a Sha infestation, we do not want a repeat performance.

Pvithe Windfury visably got up and left half way through the training excercise. I will speak to him myself about this, but it is advised that he too is on the immediate list.

Lieni pandaaren Lorewalker.

While eating dumplings Lorewalker Lieni walked over to us. She offered her assistance in answering any questions we might have about Pandaaria and all of its beings. As before we brought up the Jaded Tigers, to which she said the closest she had ever come to hearing about such was from a story about a Witch. A story commonly used to scare children she said.

When she wished for us to show her the tiger head that Pvithe had, we did and then we got permission from Corporal Shiiri to show her the location of where we encountered them.

On the road there we walked past the spiders once more, lulling them to their sleep. We found the tigers three of them attacked and one clawed at Pvithes leg. Going on assumption here now, but right after it did claw through Pvithes armor strong magic emitted from it like a glowing green beam.

The tiger was killed and Pvithe brought it with him back.
On the way back we had too free Lorewalker Lieni from a web. We parted ways on the large bridge and then I tended to Pvithes wound, small fragments of jade pushed out of it. I brought the Jade fragments with me.  It is under my strong believe that if the tiger had not been killed, it would have through its magic transformed Pvithe into a similar being. Lorewalker Lienei believes there might be a mage living in a house nearby in the woods, a house which we did spot. Using the tigers as a form of guarding system. She said she will look into the matter.

The Jade Forest: Spider Mine

Resource Wars [Pandaria, patch 5.3 & 5.4] Wowscr13

Date: 29/08/30 sdp

Sergeant: Mia Averheim

The Briefing:

The Tempest were to secure any natural resources in the Jade forest, mostly around their position. The natural resources were for example oil, any valuable minerals, lumber etc.

157th Company

Sergeant Celeste Vanimedle
Sergeant Mia Averheim
Corporal Kwu
Private Nihilia
Private Nimble Surestrike
Private Siaer Stormcloud
Recruit Decurius
Recruit Ekaits
Recruit Lerkham

The Mission:

Main Objectives:

  • Meet up with the town elder: "Achieved"
  • Locate the mine: "Achieved"
  • Secure the mine from any hostile creatures: "Achieved"
  • Begin exploitation of the mine:"In Progress"

The mission started by Sergeant Vanimedle gathering all the Tempest soldiers, most were late to the call. Once everyone was gathered and we had all our supplies we set out south of the monastery. Heading towards a town, of which town elder knew the position of the mine and its status. Once we reached the town, it was being attacked by little spirites. In the way to the town we got attacked by a few of those, which targeted Private Nimble first, then stole Corporal Kwu's hat and Sergeant Vanimedle's pouch. The Tempest bravely fought off the little spirites and stopped them from attacking the village. That's when Corporal Kwu was called in to talk to the town elder. It was reported to us that the elder was not cooperating. Which ended in us going north towards the mine.

We entered the mine just a few minutes away from the village. It was completely dark but it was nearly impossible not to see that the mine was also a liar, for something else. The soldiers proceeded, towards the stairs which were devastated by a huge boulder, that made it impossible to pass. I (Sergeant Averheim) tried to order the two druids on the squad to clear it out for us, but Sergeant Vanimedle stopped me, telling me no magic was to used in the mine or it could collapse. The order was obeyed and we set up climbing equipment, most of us safely landing down the shaft with the help of ropes. But a few people like Recruit Lerkham, Myself and Corporal Kwu were not that lucky. We were either pushed in down the schaft or fell in there ourselves causing minor or major injuries. As we fought back the waves of...animated jade spiders we heard loud sounds, something dull, as if it was hitting the ground. It didn't take a long time for us to realise that the thing was actually a huge spider, the mother as it seemed.

The 157th fought the spider. And after a long fierceful fight they won. But that wasnt an easy win, a few soldiers were injured. But the worst injury from the group has fell on Sergeant Vanimedle. As the medics rushed to help her, it came out she broke her back, and was in a state of a deep coma. I ordered them to carry her away, back to the Monastery. The mine is totally cleared, and the remaining spiders are not a problem to clear out, only a few soldiers would be needed for that.

Officer note(s):

- I will soon be writing letters to the Alliance Mining Company, for them to being exploitation of the mine. So we can get as much as possible from it. Unless any officers wish to use it for other needs.

This report is attached to the report of:
Sergeant: Mia Averheim. Check her report for further details.

((The report is clearly made by unsteady hands. ))
As Sergeant Vanimedle fell I rushed over to her, I gave her all the aid I could to the point of draining myself. Luckily the worgen druid Ekaits?, tended to me along with the human paladin I do not recall the name of at the time being. They also tended to Vanimedle along with the others, however I recalled the fact that our ways of mending does not work well with her and the worgen Decurius? was asked to aid. He stabilized her enough for us to move her back to the monastery. Where a debate began on how to aid her further.

While we debated her mother Ireth walked out from a portal with a guardian demon.
I and Tachal asked for the others to please remain calm, knowing a little of Vanimedles story. Hugir eventually asked people to stand down but remain on alert. I advised against bringing the woman harm. The woman Ireth tended to Celeste, somehow managed to send Tachal flying out of the dojo and I rushed to check on him. His armor was burned but he was fine by the looks of it. Returning people was not as ease and I heard the sound of something and leapt forth, then all turned rather black. This is all I can recall that seems left out of the previous report of Sergeant Mia.

Lance Corporal Tachal
Corporal Hugir Stormbrew
Corporal Paia
Private Nihilia
Private Siaer Stormcloud
Recruit with a demon
A dark haired handsome human fella.
Master Ju-Sin
Lian-Ji

There was possibly more people involved with the two days of events that I am now to write about, as good as my memory allow. I am sure I am missing someone.

The Mission:

Day 1
I walked into the dojo, while upstairs I heard Nihilia’s voice speaking in the language of Eredun, I turned in the stairs and saw her sending Anchoress Shiiri into the wall. I fled to them and a battle began. Soon enough Corporal Hugir, Sergeant Vanimedle and some handsome human fella with darkhair arrived to aid. Nihilia was restrained and moved elsewhere.
During one of her attacks I caught images of how she was tortured, held down by cultists screaming.
This is the fifth attack I know she has made to try to kill our own people.

Day 2
I was minding my own business when Corporal Hugir shouted for aid.
I went to him, we tracked the demon that had taken Nihilia to a pond down under the orange tree.
We saw two Sha so I took flight. Got back up. Back down there Ju-Sin and another pandaraen aided me, Tachal, Hugir and Paia in taking down the two sha. Then I searched the area, found an anomality in the arcane structure. A woman came walking by and Hugir asked for her aid, I do not know her name but she opened the portal and what we saw was the Twisting Nether.
Unable to go in there for obvious reasons we returned to the Dojo, Shiiri was brought to us by Tachal, the exorcism had gone wrong and the familiar presence I felt by the pond was confirmed once again. The gnome warlock and a demon had interfered with the exorcism.

The gnome warlock being the one from the Barrens which we fought on more than one occasion. One during a mission lead by Eodian down by the old ruins of the Shady.

Ju-Sin tended to the Sha issues Shiiri experienced, Paia healed her and then I removed a curse from her.

Then the night kept moving on. Thaldir was screaming and I followed the sound, found Shenzi once more disturbed and scared by the large bell. She guided me to the pond and there I found Thaldir consumed by the Sha, Ariesriel was present so I told her I would go for aid and I found more than one pandaraen and soon enough Ju-Sin and the others came to the pond, where she aided Thaldir with his condition.

I will restate Captain as we formerly spoke of that all of our members should be checked over as the odds of more of ours have been taken over by the demon in one way or another is likely.. The growing increased presence of Sha is worrying and Ju-Sin also had to cleanse Tachal this evening after the two Sha was taken out.

Disciplinary report

Date: 02/09/30 sdp

Early evening

During our battle against the jade constructs (see witch of the jade hunt reports for details) one of the soldiers defected the battle and hidden himself on a tree, leaving the rest of the unit alone and with a less man holding the line. Such display of cowardly and selfishness would be severely punished in many of the units i had served both in life and undeath, but i trust the judgment to the commander and her officers regarding this action. regardless, actions must be made.

The soldier is a gnome that i heard answer by the name of Ray. He wore a violet jacket and shorts on the legs, with two scarsely defensive shoulderplates and a chained hood.

Late evening
A night elf death knight by the name of Farmoon personally threatened a comrade of the 157° with vicios intents. She spoke foul words and declared her will to "eat her flesh" (roughly what we all heard her say).
Later on the same event she began to praise the foul scourge while speaking the most disgusting lenguage of the demons and while doing so, she approached me and the living with her blade. I have immediately asked the living to run away from her and i personally chained her into place. I dragged her by the dojo, our base, but upon recognizing her as a serius treat for al lthe wounded, i instead chained her into one of the unused houses in the marked area of the temple, her runeblade away from her in the same building.

I have confiscated her satchel, which contained runes of unknow purpose, i advise to investigate them properly.

I trust this matter on the officers.

Alliance Forces

Lord Elegost Dawnweaver

The Mission:

Main Objectives:

  • Find last known location of Alliance Scouts: "Achieved"
  • Neutralize Jade Witch: "Achieved"

I gathered the men up in the Tian Monastery, at The Clarion Bell to brief them on the situation, due to the large numbers that we had present, I felt it prudent to split the men in to four teams. One led by myself, Mia, Hugir, and Xildon in turn. Xildon and Mia's teams would push the front, whilst Hugir's ranged and support team were centred and mine guarded the rear. We set out off on our journey to the North, Averheim clearly seems to have no sense of direction or knows how to read a map and marched the troops completely in the wrong direction.

Before long we reached the density of the forest near the ruins of the last known scouts location. The forest itself was incredibly quiet, too so infact and we proceeded with caution. Dark clouds began to roll overhead followed by thunder as the heavens opened, due to the weather conditions the groups began to become seperated. With Mia and Xildon's group being too far infront and myself and Hugir's teams being left in the back. Before we had time to respond an unatural mist rolled over the troops in waves, it lightly teal in its coloration, that blocked any and all passage. I ordered the men to press on and we would rendevouz at the Ruins that were not far ahead.

As the mist continued to encircle my team, out of the darkness we began to shadows, and shapes move un-naturally through it, followed by two glinting red lights. The shadows grew more and more pronounced followed by low emitting growls. Then suddenly out of the mists the forms of Jade Tigers became aparent, lunging themselves at the team. We managed to stop the onslaught in no small part to Emberstone's quick thinking and ingenuity however it became aparent that if the Jade tigers struck you, that the injury became infected with the magics that animated the Tiger's to begin with, turning the injury's surrounding energies to solid stone.

Siaer and Ariesriel were paramount in the mission succeding, by combining there magics they were able to stem the Jade infection and dispel any and all traces of the magical petrification. Once healed we pressed forwards to the ruins, unable to see the other group due to the thick mists. As we arrived at the ruins edge we heard the cries of a female Pandaren. Spotting her form in the distance we ran over to aid her, aparently having being attacked by the same tigers as we. She was injured so I had Siaer move to help aid her, as Siaer began channeling energies the Pandaren moved and grabed hold of Siaer, cackling loudly in a maddend fashion she turned the Elf to solid Jade before vanishing in a flurry of magics.

We quickly had to manuver what healers we had to help Siaer, I instructed Emberstone to use her Felhunter demon to begin to track the Witch and her location, as the demons themselves are very receptive to magic, and are trained mage killers. We managed to break the bonds that held Siaer and Averheim's team caught up with us, the Fel hunter led us up stairs towards the Witchs location but as we traversed, traps of runic power began to be triggered sealing many troops in place of solid Jade.

I left a small contingent behind to heal the group, and protect them from any assault, whilst the others pressed on against the main target - The Jade Witch.

We arrived in a centre arena filled with many statues, most noticably the Alliance Scouts. The Witch quickly began her assault of the allready tired and injured troops. During the battle she animated several of the statues, her powers of Magic were quite astounding to be sure. Do note, that whilst the battle rage, Emberstone became infused by the Jade Witch's magics which cause a manifestation of the sha from her, more training may perhaps be needed her.

We managed to drive the witch back with a combined effort and in her last fleeting moments the witch summoned her magics and then was wholely consumed by them, sending out a shockwave to anyone nearby, as we came too we saw that the Witch herself had been turned to solid Jade. Lord Dawnweaver smashed the statue in to pieces that then shattered in to dust and flew along the wind. The mission was a success and we have rid the Jade Forests of a rather dispicable villain. I have asked Sergeant Averheim and Coporal Hugir to fill out there own accounts of missing variations in my report you will find them below.

Sergeant Mia Averheim's Report:

Corporal Hugir Strongbrew's Report:

Officer note(s):

I truly believe that Siaer and Ariesriel be given a commendation for there actions on the field, due to there prowess with healing artes we were able to keep progressing and kill the Jade Witch herself.

I also believe that Saphra Emberstone be given a commendation for her quick thinking and ingenuity in response to the mists, with her area of effect fire spell.

The Jade Forest: Scout Report: 51124

Resource Wars [Pandaria, patch 5.3 & 5.4] Scout_10

Date: 03/09/30 sdp

Sergeant: Celeste Vanimedle

The Briefing:

By Captain Inran's order, I was tasked with mobilizing a small force of under five people to Scout the Kor'kron base to the North-East of the Tian Monastery. If we are to move on Honeydue Village this base needs to be removed.

157th Company

Sergeant Celeste Vanimedle
Recruit Jenit Penfold
Recruit Arasali

Alliance Forces: Blooming Lotus

Xiao Swiftfeet

The Mission:

Main Objectives:

  • Scout Kor'kron Air Field: "Achieved"
  • List any and all potential threats: "Achieved"

I gathered the above mentioned operatives inside the Tian Monastery at The Clarion Bell, from there I briefed them that we would be moving towards the North-West. We would gather outside the North Entrance of the Monastery and from there I would equip each of the team with a small Spyglass. When we arrived, given Arasali's equipment of mail armor and shield I brought in to question if she was trained for a stealth mission, she assured me she was and I trusted her word. We moved towards the Mountain Pass in the North-West.

As we traversed it quickly became aparent that subtlty was and is not the Draenei's strongpoint, she managed to aggrivate every single piece of natural wildlife she could on our trip down there resulting in it responding in a hostile fashion. I ordered her back to Camp incase of endangering hte mission and pressed on with the other two, through the pass. The pass itself is extremely well placed geographically. It gives us a direct, unguarded, hidden through-route to the Horde Air Field. There were no guards, no traps and no sentries here, it would make prime staging area for tomorrow's assault.

As we continued we were able to spot the base in full: It is split in to two seperate areas, the Main Airfield, and what I would describe as a garrison. Both are defended by makeshift walls with entrance ways cut out. The walls are made out of local wood, standing 6 to 7 feet in height. At each Entrance way is stationed a heavy armored guard, these guards appear to work on shift rotations. At the Main Airfield side (Western Side) The walls are acommpanied by from what I can gather, anti air capable flak cannons. Do note however these cannons are facing South, and are in no way endangering the Mountain pass on the Eastern side.

Our biggest and most dangerous obsticle however comes in the form of a large tower, and tethered too it a Goblin crafted War Zepplin. If we are going to get birds in there to help down the thing, we're going to need to take down those cannons first. To the South of the Main Airfield there is a small Hozen Encampment, they acording to Xiao, are alligned with the Kor'kron and can be dealt with accordingly. It was my plan to have a D.A.M.N.I.T payload placed at this Hozen settlement, and blow it before we launch our assault from the Mountain Pass.

That will create a window of opportunity in the confusion to move our Frontliners in to position towards the cannons in hopes of disabling them, at the same time we fly our birds in to help deal with the Zepplin air support.

So to confirm we have:

Unknown ammount of Kor'kron troops to push through
Flak-Cannon's
Zepplin Carrier Support
Kor'kron alligned Hozen
Possible Goblin traps/mines

I asked Xiao to tell Ju-Sin Stormstout to have Pandaren sentries placed on the Mountain Pass untill our move tomorrow. Its going to take a big push to take this Air Field.

Jade Forest: Siege of Kor'kron Airstrip

Resource Wars [Pandaria, patch 5.3 & 5.4] Wowscr11

Date: 04/09/30 sdp

Captain: Inran of Kor'khat

The Briefing:

The Kor'kron had built a fortress as the base of their operations in the Jade Forest. Said fort was the main supply route by zeppelins to the Jade Forest. Objective was to destroy said airstrip with minimal casaulties. As a major threat, War Zeppelin and Flak Cannons of the Horde, and a garrison of superior numbers. Plans were made based on earlier scouting report

While a frontal assault team would take a mountain path and strike to the undefended flank of the enemy, to the act as a distraction to draw the attention of the Horde, a secondary team would sneak to the flank of the Fortress and disable the Flak Cannons, to allow the Gyrocopters of the company to sweep in to finish the job. The split was made as following.

Frontal Assault Team

Captain Inran of Kor'khat
Lance-Corporal Lavian Dawson
Private Pvithe Windfury
Recruit Decurius Longmane
Recruit Lelara Frosthoof
Recruit Zhuyan Plagueforge

Blooming Lotus Society
Master Stormstout
Pandaren Marksman
Pandaren Mage

In Gyrocopters
Corporal Hugir Strongbrew
Lance-Corporal Paia Cuddlefork

Flak-Cannon Group

Sergeant Celeste Vanimedle
Corporal Shiiri
Recruit Ekaits Stormwrath
Recruit Lothy Llanvar
Recruit Saphra Emberstone
The Mission:

Main Objectives:

  • Destroy the Kor'kron forces stationed in the Airstrip: "Achieved"

  • Disable Kor'kron Flak Cannons: "Achieved"

  • Destroy the War Zeppelin and the Zeppelin Tower: "Achieved"

Once teams had been assembled we took the road west from the Monastery, through the mountain path. We went through the plan again and the teams departed, Sergeant Vanimedle leading her team through the forest while I led those in my group through a narrow path straight to the flank of the enemy. Shouting our battle cries, we clashes with the unsuspecting Horde. Eventhough outnumbered our courage and sudden appearance left the Orcs in a moment of disarray, and several were slain. Once the initial shock had calmed down and the Orcs started to advance, I ordered the group for a quick retreat, and to cast spells to slow down the Orcish Horde following.

The group ran to the narrow pathway, where we formed a Blockade. Death Knights make a fearsome wall of steel, flanked by some of the Pandaren. The Horde pushed on us all at once, but the line stood its ground. I ordered the two Gyrocopters waiting behind the mountain to join the fray, in the cover of cliffs and trees, safe from Flak Cannon aim. Orcs, once again surprised took heavy casaulties from the Gyrocopter fire. However Corporal Strongbrew gyrocopter's rocket malfunctioned, result in an explosion and a crash nearby.

Windfury rushed to the aid of Strongbrew, transforming into a Moonkin by what i was told and stood protect him against the Orcish waves. Lance-Corporal Cuddlefork managed to provide air-support and prevent Windfury being overwhelmed. This is when Sergeant Vanimedle reported disabling operation successful, and by radio I called the Gyrocopters for an assault. We begin hearing sounds of Gyrocopters from the other side of the camp and the Orcs were clearly realizing they were losing. Soon after, the Zeppelin tower and the zeppelin itself blew up. We began to push forward. Windfury took the chance and came back to us, wounded but alive, carrying Corporal Strongbrew. I did what quick healing i could in combat situation.

By that, the fight was nearly over. I and Strongbrew were helped to the middle of the battlefield by Pvithe Windfury. Sergeant Vanimedle had managed to assault a group attempting to flee to Honeydew Village when we got there.

In general, the mission was successful with acceptable losses in form of injuries. No soldiers died.

Sergeant Vanimedle's Report.:

Officer note(s):

- Private Pvithe Windfury is recommended for commendation for act of bravery to protect and rescue Corporal Strongbrew whose Gyrocopter had crashed.

- Several of the Death Knights are rather inclined to use Diseases in battle to harm the enemy, but the risk of friendly fire is to great on majority of cases. Alternative methods of combat must be taught or found if to continue work alongside the living.

Training Private Ekaits Stormwrath and tending to the aftermath of the Sha infestiation on Araneron.

Private Areneron Windfury
Private Pvithe Windfury
Private Ariesriel Morningstar
Private Siaer Stormcloud
Private Thaldir Shadowstar.
Yun Ru Stormstout

Training Ekaits and the Sha situation

What happened?

I walked down the stairs from the dojo towards the big bell, when I saw Thaldir, Ariesriel and Pvithe staring at Araneron who was trapped in a golden caged shield made by Ariesriel. Ekaits descended from the air and landed next to me. It became clear that Araneron was under the influence of the Sha. I went back and put my proper armor on and returned only to be sent away by Pvithe. Who tried to send me, Ekaits. Ariesriel, Yun Ru and Thaldir away.

I left with Ekaits to train him.
I began with getting the knowledge he had himself of what he has learned to master and then proceeded with training him in some basic and harder offensive magic. He managed all very well except one of the harder spells. He did manage it, just not to its full potential. I am keeping a list of his knowledge, what he needs further training with, how well he has done things so far.
During the training I found out that he is a lot stronger than what he himself have been aware of.

Suddenly Araneron descended from the sky and told us to get back to the temple, as in the large bell. We did and we found Pvithe standing over Yun Ru holding her at the chest which was covered in blood and Ariesriel sitting as if without a mind at all.

I tended to the three claw marks on Yun Ru’s chest. Then I teached Ekaits how to cleanse Ariesriel. I also told her I wish her to see Ju-Sin tomorrow.

It is possible that this all came to be due to a mace Araneron had. Ariesriel levitated it from him, which could be the cause of her infestation as well.

The mace is with Araneron and we all agreed the first to see him will try taking it from him without touching it directly to have someone check it out to possibly trace it back to its former owner unless Araneron can explain where he got it and how.

Have also asked Pvithe to ask Captain Inran how to proceed with this matter.

Ariesriel was cleansed to the degree we could, but considering former events where druidic cleansing was not sufficient the request for her to go and see Ju-Sin to be sure remains. She did however say she felt nothing. Just like Tachal did previously.

I will continue training Ekaits in all the offensive magic I know of, also defensive magic. Then I will move on to training him further in flying with people on his back. Then move onto training in various forms.

- Ju-Sin have been informed. And I have mentioned Ariesriel to her as well as debated the option of the mace being purposely infested with Sha or could have some form of magic placed on it to increase the chance of Sha to manifest. She said that fel magic picks up good on Sha and that powerful spells at can be enough to cause it to manifest.

Apparently Araneron tried to use the mace to ring the Clarion Bell. Ringing it would have deafened those in the near presence making an ambush of any kind fairly easy. Ju-Sin could also tell that some stories speaks of some kind of enchantment but she does not know if the stories holds truth in this matter.

Further info on the details of the training:

The aftermath of having Nihilia back and Shiiri in drained recovery

Private Siaer Stormcloud

Corporal Hugir
Private Nihilia
Private Thaldir Shadowstar
Private Siaer Stormcloud
Recruit Lothy Llanvar

Tending and caring for Nihilia and Shiiri

I walked into the dojo and was instructed by Sergeant Vanimedle to head down to the orange trees as something had happened. And to send the Captain to her and take over the healing.
When I came down there Corporal Hugir stood with a notebook in his hands watching the Captain and the Anchoress healing Nihilia. I aided them and Shiiri fell to the ground in exhaustion. I assume she was just drained. Thaldir appeared shortly after the Captain, Inran left for the dojo.
I finished tending to Nihilia, then healed the two broken fingers on Thaldirs hand. Lothy carried Nihilia to the second floor of the dojo, then Thaldir carried Shiiri up.
Both were fed soup. Both were given water, tucked in on a madrass who later was moved to have them resting together.

I spoke with the Captain and after our talk I did this:

Left a note next to Shiiri about her if possible when stronger entering Nihilia’s mind to go through her experience with her and possibly sooth the experience so that her mental state remains somewhat functional. I also wrote to inform me if this is something she would not be willing or capable of doing. If so I will send words for someone else.

Sent word to Aoslien Stormcloud about making Nihilia an item to carry on her person to prevent her from any mindcontrol.

I myself began working on a project I began a while back and finished it. It’s a golden pendant with a green stone. When its near Nihilia it will always emit a faint green glow so when I placed it around her neck I tucked it down in under her robe. The object upon activated with three words she has been informed about will for a period of five minutes activate a ward around her person to keep her safe from any harmful or influencing magic.

Also: I asked Corporal Hugir to get them both a whistle each. To be used to alert us if the warlock does make an appearance.

Beyond this there is little I know of what occurred this evening.

- Signed Private Siaer Stormcloud.

Lieutenant Eodain Ashdown
Private Ekaits Stormwrath
Private Araneron Windfury
Recruit Evanee Antillarea
Lord Elegost Dawnweaver

The Mission:

Main Objectives:

  • Determine what happened at the Vale: "Achieved"
  • Determine what caused the explosion:  "Other"*
  • Find any survivors: "Achieved"

The team that was selected immediately began flying to the Vale. When we passed over the mountains, we immediately saw a large swathe of Sha energy covering the land. Though we were under orders to turn back, there could have been survivors or conclusive evidence as to why this had happened. I did not want to rush in blind. We made landing and immediately began investigating.

We explored the Sha-touched territory though we did not come across many hostiles, and we ourselves were shielded from its' influence due to our training. We saw a pillar coming from the old Mogu'shan Palace and decided to investigate; however the source of the pillar was inconclusive. Antillarea afterwards noted that she had seen a door that had been opened by the blast. We decided to investigate and went inside - upon entering, we found a large Sha-touched Water Elemental that had sapped all the water from the Vale, empowered by what seemed to be enslaved Jinyu.

We decided not to engage and instead left for the mine, where Stormwrath had said he'd seen Horde. We approached but the Horde miners did not seem to acknowledge us, even when questioned. Eventually we came across a titan-made door but despite our best efforts we could not break through. It was probably for the best. The Horde, whatever they have uncovered, should have remained forgotten and lost. Upon leaving, we were assaulted by Sha. It was then I decided to leave and report to Captain Inran.

*This is based on my assumption that the Horde had caused the explosion, inadvertently or not. So far the evidence points to it but a conclusive answer cannot yet be found.

OOC: The Calligraphy is well written, structured, and precise, but the language is Darnassian as opposed to Common. On the back, in small print, is a small apology, in Darnassian of course. It reads "I apologise for the lack of Common, however Siaer, or a learned Kaldorei may be able to translate. I also suspect magic may aid in the translation of this. The words Siaer, Kaldorei, and Translate are their respective terms in Common however, and are boldened to highlight them.

The village's defenses are enforced with:

  • Snapvine Thresher plants are situated on the Eastern ridge, at the blind spot and the path leading to it. The Threshers have a distinct, red set of petals at the unburrowed part, to lure in prey. Treat them like Venus Fly Traps, for Humanoids. Very lethal.
  • Moss lines the riverbanks boulders, to prevent a quick charge from the North-West. Route is passable on foot, but it is very slippery. Advise caution.
  • Boulders moved into position along the outskirts of camp, with thick roots, and bark, to provide additional cover to hide behind. Advise not hiding behind the roots alone.
  • Groundwater has cleared the foundation of the path to the front, with thick vines supporting the earth below, ready to be pulled away at a moments notice. WARNING This is a last resort measure, as the earth will shift several dozens of meters vertically, causing irreversible damage to the landscape, and potentially allowing further "Sha" to manifest from the shifted Earth.

Corporal Hugir Strongbrew

The Briefing:

Our orders were to visit the Alliance owned Shrine of Seven Stars and check up on their status, and possibly take back to Mistfall Village a small amount supplies, check on the Horde owned Shrine of Two Moons and a nearby Mogu camp. While avoiding the main Sha area around Mogu'shan Palace.

(157th Company

Corporal Hugir Strongbrew
Corporal Shiiri
Private Alberts Crownwell
Private Ekaits Stormwrath
Private Feralien Morningstar
Private Jenit Penfold (M.I.A.)
Private Lerkam Lightheart
Private Mineral Coppersocket
Private Nihilia
Private Siaer Stormcloud
Private Thaldir Shadowstar

Pandaren aide
A male Pandaren of the Blooming Lotus society, which name I sadly forgot.

The Mission:

Main Objectives:

  • Scout and check the status of the Shrine of Seven Stars: "Achieved"
  • Check out the Horde owned Shrine of Two Moons: "Failed"
  • Scout the nearby Mogu camp: "Failed"

After finally being ready to leave Mistfall Village, we set out in the direction of the Shrine of Seven Stars.
The march was rather uneventful until we got sight of the masses of Sha manifestations in the center of the Vale, running rampart and looking for prey. Which they had apparently found in a few Pandaren laying scattered on a piece of non-Sha tainted ground, dead. Our Pandaren identified them as having been members of the Golden Lotus order. I marked the place on the map and passed the location on to the Pandaren back in Mistfall, so they may have proper farewells.
We marched further, but sadly the Sha, who seemed to enjoying gnawing at our minds most of the time were starting to have affect on some of the men as they started to disobey orders, but after some struggle I managed to keep them back on track.
At that point I was sure that the Sha hadn't affected my own judgement yet, looking back I was indeed still sane, at that point.

Upon reaching the relative safety of the Shrine of Seven Stars, I send Corporal Shiiri to collect a report from the local watch commander, while the soldiers who had space and strength to spare were send to collect small sacks of food and a barrel of water, allowed to carry only one, so it wouldn't stall the rest of the mission. Upon Corporal Shiiri her return, we set out once more.
Leaving the Shrine, we ourselves under mental attack by the Sha, and also physical as a few manifestations charged forth in a attempt to try and brutally murder us.
It was quite clear that the feelings of excess pride were coming back yet again to the soldiers as we moved in such a close to the Sha infestations. They had a hard time obeying orders, they did obey, sure. But often after a moment of repeating and yelling.
We advanced further, slowly as several times we had to stop for a Sha or sha infested wild life attack.
I was forced to send Crownwell and Shadowstar back to Mistfall Village for showing clear signs of sha infestation. But looking back, it was quite clear that the majority of the present soldiers were already affected after constant exposure to the Sha, including myself. Yet at that moment I was convinced that the rest and myself were still alright.

After noticing that any possible path to the Shrine of Two Moons was blocked by either sha tainted earth or simply big amounts of very hostile Sha manifestations wandering around, I was still sane enough at that point to conclude that getting closer to the Shrine of Two Moons was to dangerous. So we headed for the Mogu camp instead, on our way there Nihilia also got affected by the Sha after a attack, Lightheart escorted her back to Mistfall as well, and eventually we marched on. Fighting a amount of sha-infested Saurok and wild life as we advanced closer and closer to the Mogu camp.
At this point the Sha had fully managed to cloud my common sense with excess pride, yet at that moment I was under the impression that I was still very much clear of the Sha and in control.
In my pride I led the men to close to the Mogu encampement, so close that we already engaged in battle with a amount of their sentries and by that alarmed the camp, who started to prepare a massive counter attack. I was convinced we could easily handle them, and was about to lead a charge.
Luckily Private Stormcloud, one of the very few that didn't have their common sense shrouded by Sha put me asleep.
I awoke back in Mistfall Village, hearing that Private Penfold had been captured by Mogu and how I nearly managed to kill the entire unit..

It's safe to conclude that it's utter chaos in the Vale, wildlife fighting each other and us, and of course the swarms of Sha manifestations who run rampart almost completely un-opposed. Killing anything in their path, including a amount of unlucky Pandaren refugees who got torn to shreds.

Officer note(s):

- I highly discourage any missions that risk direct and long exposure to the big amount of Sha present in the Vale. Even with meditation training it's hard and for some even impossible to withstand such long exposure. If even the Pandaren who have trained for decades to resist the Sha still have a chance, and sometimes do fall to them, like the Pandaren that joined us proved first, I'd say it's unrealistic and unwise to demand that our men do withstand them, it could have possibly lethal results.

- I'm fully aware and take full responsebility of the fiasco that was this mission. I understand any questions regarding my capability of leading our troops, yet if given the chance to remain as Corporal, I'll do my very best to try and redeem myself both in the eyes of the men, commanding officers and the Light.

Light bless,
Corporal Hugir Strongbrew

A shorter report written by Shiiri follows.
Quote :

This report continues from where Hugir fell asleep in the mogu camp.

After Hugir was put to sleep, as the highest ranking soldier present the company immediately came to me for orders. I was likely under sha influence myself, and I also thought we could easily deal with the mogu and retreat was not necessary. Yet knowing of the sha, some part of me suspected I could not trust my own judgement anymore. The other soldiers were all asking for a retreat, so I ordered one. Lerkam asked to stay behind to cover the retreat. I refused, saying we would all go as one. Thus we ran for Mistfall.
However, Jenit apparently refused my orders, staying behind anyway. Lerkam and Mineral did also, in an attempt to get her to follow us. They failed and lost track of her, and returned safely to the rest of us after a moment. I asked Siaer to take to the air in bird form and see if she could find Jenit and if possible bring her back. She found Jenit had been taken as a captive by the mogu, and returned to Mistfall. I considered a rescue operation, but chose to leave such plans for my superiors, and thus the mission was over.

Regarding the report I received at the Shrine of the Seven Stars:
According to their sentinel commander, the Alliance present, their military consisting mostly of night elven sentinels, have so far managed to keep the shrine secure with the assistance of remaining golden lotus pandaren, many of which have fallen to the Sha. Both the sentinels and the pandaren are on full alert in case of attempted attack, but so far no major ones have come. It is feared there may soon be a lack of supplies.

Guo-Lai Ruins: Prisoner Rescue

Resource Wars [Pandaria, patch 5.3 & 5.4] RuinsofGuo-Lai

Date: 18/09/30 sdp

Lieutenant: Eodain Ashdown

The Briefing:

After the fragmentation of the Golden Lotus, reports had come in that Mogu had taken many of their members prisoner; it was also confirmed that Private Jenit Penfold was among the prisoners. Due to her knowledge of the area, I tasked Sergeant Vanimedle to lead a force which had also consisted of myself, though I took more of a back-seat role; I was willing to defer to her knowledge of the ruins.

157th Company Strike Team:

Lieutenant Eodain Ashdown
Sergeant Celeste Vanimedle (Leader)
Lance-Corporal Clara Lavian Dawson
Lance-Corporal Xildon Tinkertron
Private Lerkam Lightheart
Private Salara
Private Saphra Emberstone
Recruit Lothy Llanvar
Lord Elegost Dawnweaver

157th Company Village Defence Team:
Corporal Hugir Strongbrew
Private Mineral Coppersocket
Private Nihilia

Blooming Lotus Forces:
-- (( Needs to be edited in ))--

The Mission:

Main Objectives:

  • Rescue Survivors: "Achieved"
  • Locate and rescue Jenit Penfold: "Achieved"
  • Defeat Mogu Forces: "In Progress"

After gathering in the courtyard, Sergeant Vanimedle picked out members of the Company who were deemed unfit for dealing with potential Sha. Almost as if on cue, lightning began to strike from the sky, which had turned an eerie black, burning some of the village. As time was of the essence, we ordered the team that was to stay behind to combat the fires whilst we dealt with prisoners.

We made our way to Guo-Lai ruins with no events of note; just a few sha-infected animals attempting to attack us. When we entered, we divided our forces; Lance-Corporal Dawson was charged with leading the frontline distraction team whilst Vanimedle, Emberstone, Salara and myself went to free prisoners. It was there that I had made a mistake whilst picking the lock of one of the cages, setting off a trap. The Pandaren inside burned fiercely and grabbed me, burning my shoulder, and I shoved her off as she melted. I was shaken and became quiet throughout the mission, attempting to keep my doubt in check. Emberstone was to deal with future locks. We made short work of Mogu resistance, who were fragmented and could not seem to put forward a coherent resistance. We found Private Penfold inside a cage, and it was the quick thinking of Ju-Sin Stormstout that saved her life as the trap was set off inside the cage, but Master Stormstout had thrown a shield of light over her, which just about preserved her life. I decided that time was running out as the Mogu moved to execute prisoners, and I lead a seperate team consisting of Lance-Corporal Dawson, Lord Dawnweaver, Private Lightheart and some Pandaren to free more prisoners, of which we succeeded in doing so.

As we made our way towards Guo-Lai Halls, the Mogu finally put forward a shield-wall of their own. We had numerous wounded and the lightning began to strike around us. An ominous voice and mist began to shroud the Ruins, and we made the decision to pull back and retreat with what we had, rather than take risks. The retreat process was complicated by injuries to certain members of the team, but we escaped with no losses; the medics, however, will be busy tonight.

Additional reports from Sergeant Vanimedle and Corporal Strongbrew are to be attached below.
